Senator Hogg has put in a bill draft request. In January the Legislature comes back into session. The bill will be introduced then and assigned to a committee – most likely the Judiciary Committee, which Senator Hogg currently chairs. When the bill is drafted and filed, I will let you know and you can follow its progress through the Legislature. There will be organizations that will provide opinions regarding the legislation and thus, a bill generally looks different as it moves through the legislative process. Countdown until the guardian ad litem recommendations are due!

Jumping for joy and counting down the days until 9/20! By this date the new ad litem will have made her decision and submitted her recommendations to the judge regarding our case and visitation with Jim. Aiden, my mother and myself are more than ecstatic to finally speak with Jim again without the threat of harassment or trespassing for doing so. To be a family again.. never sounded so good!
