Senator Hogg has put in a bill draft request. In January the Legislature comes back into session. The bill will be introduced then and assigned to a committee – most likely the Judiciary Committee, which Senator Hogg currently chairs. When the bill is drafted and filed, I will let you know and you can follow its progress through the Legislature. There will be organizations that will provide opinions regarding the legislation and thus, a bill generally looks different as it moves through the legislative process.
